Never before have we had an opportunity to bring so many unique and luxurious items together in one complete piece of Cross Bottle Guy handmade work; and it's very likely that we'll never get the chance to do it again! This, my friends, is the joy and heartache of building one of a kind art out of the beautifully fragmented and antique.

 

Let's begin with the crystal cross, a brilliant collaboration of stunning and magically refractive ivy leaf prisms. These rare crystals are a favorite of ours, and are rather difficult to come by. Hand chiseled and polished in the bohemian method, these large leaded crystals have the most graceful of silhouettes with subtle curves and ridged valleys creating a visual majesty of form and light refractory.

 

These five recherché, century-old crystals, come together with our flat back German ovals, and small Russian octagonals, all centered on one rare large octagonal prism to create a completely new piece of Cross Bottle Guy crystal sculpture we may never be able to create in this formation again.

 

Married with rough-hewn solder finished in our signature mercerized rust patina, this crystal cross is matched in beauty only by the well-aged foreign vessel it forever seals.

This antique French demi-john wine jug, a dainty 4-liters in capacity is an extraordinary hand-blown glass in the most deeply marvelous shade of aqua. Resplendent with ethereal inner patinas of warm honey and amber, the rarity of being able to create our handmade work to sit atop a piece like this brings a certain type of unmatched joy.
